Day 1 Rundown

The first day at The International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) set the backdrop for a buzzing hybrid meeting – bringing over 1,200 senior leaders in global hospitality investment and development together for the first time in 18 months. This year is a huge achievement, uniting our industry not just confidently and safely, but as one that other industries follow. Thank you for joining us.

Day 2 Rundown

Day 1 generated a real buzz as we were all able to reconnect with old colleagues face-to-face and meet new ones. Maintaining that buzz, day 2 dove straight into the hot topics of the moment, with a networking breakfast that offered options for breakout discussions across a wide range of investment topics, including key destinations such as Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Portugal.

However, more action is needed to drive change at the leadership level. The picture is the same when looking at the representation of women in the sector, with 66% of middle management being female, indicating potential for levelling up at board level in time.
